Aortic Dissection is a rare cardiovascular disease. On Rare Connect a global commuity of friends living withthe rare disease Aortic Dissectionhas joined. One of these persons, Dan from United Kingdom, has written his survivor story, and it starts with “Today Is A Good Day“.

The Snow Leopard have been chosen to represent Aortic Dissection Awareness Day – September 19 – a global day to jointly create awareness for rare and lethal aortic diseases around the globe.

Doctors have 6.000 rare diseases to face in their work. Aortic Dissection is only one of these. Then there are ten thousand more known diseases.
